A regional manufacturing client acquired a 40,000-square-foot facility and had 30 days to be operational. They needed a wired backbone, whole-facility wireless, a VoIP phone system, security cameras, badged door access, and roughly 50 workstations imaged and deployed. From scratch, with nothing existing on-site except an internet drop and, memorably, a very confused HVAC contractor.
We designed the low-voltage layout alongside the general contractor before drywall went up. Cheaper than pulling cable through finished walls, and more accurate. Deployed a Meraki-managed core with redundant WAN and switch stacking in the MDF. Ran a heat-map survey and placed access points to guarantee coverage across the metal-heavy production floor, where signal loves to die. Configured VLANs for corporate, shop-floor tablets, cameras, VoIP, and guest, with QoS so the phones don't stutter when the camera system is having a moment. Imaged every workstation to a golden image with encryption, MDM enrollment, and printer profiles pre-loaded. Integrated cameras and access control with the client's cloud identity so departing staff are automatically deprovisioned across all of it.
The facility went live on schedule. Day-one production ran without a single ticket. Executive team walked in Monday morning and everything just worked, including their extension numbers, which followed them over from the old office. The HVAC contractor remained confused, but that was not in scope.
